New Wiring Update
The new wiring has saved 40 pounds -- not counting the elimination of certain relays due to the increase in wiring quality. Additionally, this savings includes the use of a number of somewhat heavier milspec connectors in place of the Porsche pieces.

Thank you. Will take pictures next week. The other interesting aspect is that the loom diameters have shrunk rather dramatically so as to permit the use of smaller fasteners and small flexible carbon fiber grommets. Additionally, I have just received a sample of aluminum battery cable for testing which could reduce weight even further.

My schedule for January has become almost impossible and I am also booked through February 13th. How does the last week in February sound?
P.S. I think a way to save another .7 kg has been found -- producing the ABS accumulator in carbon -- but do not try this at home as this piece may be required to withstand pressure spikes of 250+ bar (3626+ psi).

Yes, engineers and others in Austria, England, Germany and Italy have been involved. As to having the vehicle in Europe, although at this point this is unlikely due to potential damage in shipping, there might be a circumstance under which this could occur.

Hey Robbert,
what do you think about switching to the new 42 volt electrical system. The american car engineers are hard at work on this, im sure some one could engineer this for a 964. with the 42 volts, you have more voltage, and there for, less amperage going through. you could make the wires really thin without melting them.
