You should choose which appeals to you, of course--I prefer my C4S as it is, without a tail. I think it looks great as-is. I would feel different about the tail if the car actually was a turbo, however.

I second that. I had my C4S without a tail but I really like it on my tt.

Go for the TT tail. Its to the widebody as cuffs is to dress pants. Here's my C4S all dressed up and ready to run. My elevator tail is home in a box for casual Fridays.

IMHO, the clean lines of the C4S are ruined by the TT tail. If I could get a TT without the tail, I would.

I'm not a big fan of the TT tail - I prefer no tail or the RS tail...

I was going to buy a C4S and I wanted a tail bad,
but I got the TT and the whole package is just stunning.

I also thought of going through that and up to now I have resisted adding a fixed wing.
Personalizing your car to your own taste is the best thing on the Porsche World....but many people prefer unmolested original examples.
The double grill is unique and looks awesome in the widebody my .02c

Guys he's buying a C2S, not a C4S.
Bruce, keep the stock split spoiler. It's only on the C2S, and it makes the car look very special, IMHO.

I for one LOVE whaletails.....got one on my '86 911 coupe. What other marque can a grown adult feel comfortable hanging a huge spoiler on the rear deck, and not be laughed at??

BUT......the "S" widebody 993's look best without a tail. IMHO. I 2nd the others' opinion about the split grill on the C2S being especially nice.

I have a C4S with turbo tail becasue I have a turbo. If I had my druthers, I would have the regular elevator tail. I think it looks best & is cleaner.

A split grill sure would look good on my car. PM me if you would consider selling it.
