Thumbs up FS: Hardback Sport Seats

Hi folks,

Selling this pair of 993 hardback sport seats in excellent condition. Both have the full power settings with heated seat function. Just one small mark on the back underneath the Porsche emblem as pictured. Asking $6000 USD plus shipping from Toronto Canada. Seats came out of a low mileage 95 C2...

Just curious - why do the seat switches only have up and down, but on 2 switches? I'm assuming one is for front and rear sliding adjustment, and the other for the seat back position forward and back?

Just power front and rear seat cushion lift/lowering. Front to rear movement is manual.

I've never seen switches like those with the raised part in the center. All the other are indented at that location.

I think that's an optical illusion. Until you said it, I see that pic as an indent...

The seat heating feature was optional; for all Porsche 993 seating. If ya like that sort of thing I'd say it is a plus.

Mid-summer '97 saw the beginning of MY98 production. MY98 993 production specifying Racing Seats (hardbacks) w/heat option saw a build date delay. IIRC the hardbacks w/"heat" option delayed my MY98 production date by 10 weeks.
A little fun fact from memory lane . . . . (Porsche Strasse)

That's funny, you're right! I saw it as an outie as well but after you mentioned it I think it is an innie. Lol
Great seats, I'd love to have them if it was in the budget! GLWS

Shipping looks to be around the $210 mark from Toronto to basically anywhere in the U.S....open to reasonable offers.

Fantastic! If I wouldn't have bought the Focus RS I would have these! Good luck with Sale.

Someone buy these and recover them in Tartan. Then, when you are tired of them in a year or so, I will definitely buy them off you!

If only these would have been for sale back in November, I'd be all over them.

If only these were in Canadian dollars, I'd be all over them! The exchange rate these days is a killer!

Yep, if the dollar was better I would buy them and put them away for future use too.
