Someone will pick this up soon just for the rarity.
I remember when BHP had a few cabs converted to WB when new - didn’t know they did a Targa also. They were gorgeous, expensive, and took forever to sell back then. IIRC, it was late ‘99 / early ‘00 before they sold the last cab.

Did you add the 1996 C4S Yellow one that just sold on BAT for $140k including fees? Add that to the graph.

A '96 Targa, silver w/grey interior just hammered at BJ for $30k, ($33 w/buyer's premium). Looked clean and straight but Sunday afternoon, the crowd looked sparse.

Just FYI....
...."It has 106,564 actual miles. CARFAX shows damage report on 12/10/2014: Damage reported, damage to rear."

There was also a 26k-mile RS America that sold for $82,500. It was a car I had considered from a Chicago dealer last August, but it had been heavily modded, tracked, and brought back to closer to stock, but still a ways from it.

Thanks for the info on the Targa. My son and I thought that was an amazing deal, but I told him. "If it sounds too good to be true" and you just proved it.

I would have hard time believing it was an option, simply because of the US crash safety standards. My US Carrera Cup had an aluminum hood, but those cars were brought over under different circumstances.

I read thru the comments. The previous owner said he talked to some people in the know at the factory. They told him at the end of the 993 production run the factory was throwing
whatever parts they had laying around on the cars. Not sure thats accurate but maybe.

Does anyone know more about this one? I know there is no service history apart from a recent 10k repair on the turbo. But that still seams like a deal, doesn't it? Not for me though, I could not stand that carpet's colour..
