I don't know the car, but if that's an EZ pass on the windshield I would wonder how he kept the miles so low. Good luck.

I have Sunpass on all my cars. Here is a driving summary over the last 12 months from the 4 cars I have owned at least that long:

1.- 237 miles driven
2.- 582 miles driven
3.- 2834 miles driven
4.- 6700 miles driven (Daily Driver)

Not speaking for anyone and we all know these 993 ODOs can be made 'defective' very easily, but it is possible, especially if you have multiple cars, to drive them low miles per year on average. If records and Car Fax ODO reporting check out as well as ODO reading at current owner Title issuance, that EZ pass should not be a deterrent. As time passes these cars are becoming a rarer commodity. And most likely whoever owns them does not need to sell them. As most here know I have relentlessly looked for examples that suited my needs and budget over the last year globally and the last 6 months within this forum. Dedicated at least 2 hours + daily to the search. As I posted elsewhere my search is now complete and I will be less active on RL but want to thank the community and the great 'virtual' friends that I have made along the way as well as both outstanding POs to both of the 993s I was able to find and buy here. From my personal 2 fold experience in the last 6 months: If you have the funds ready, have narrowed your search parameters, then don't hesitate to act on it within 24 hours, once you find a car that meets your needs, otherwise you will pass on good examples that you should have kept, and will spend more time browsing online and looking, as opposed to driving and caring for her. For every good car being offered, there are on average 100s of dreamers and about 6 serious buyers behind it, so you do the math with these limited production numbers assuming at least 80% remain on the road which is a pipe dream. In my estimation in the US there has to be only around 1200 C2Ss worth investing in left and about 1700 C4Ss, and I think I'm being too generous.
All this being said, I'll tell you what? I'd rather be staring at these two, than at my computer screens at night... Porsche On!

Only 1752 C2S and 2,327 C4S made it to the US over 20 years ago. From my connection at Porsche Classic he claims the numbers to be much lower due to some wrecked, totaled and exported out of the US. Exporting of these cars out of the US has accelerated in the last 3-5 years.

@GBos1 I'm with you on this one and I'm going to go out on a limb and guesstimate the real numbers left in the Domestic US are about 950+/- C2Ss and <1300 C4Ss. That is what I personally think given the prorated limited availability of my searches in the last 6 months and the fact that the same car kept rotating dealers or going from private seller to dealer or dealers as opposed to actual new fresh offerings coming up at the same rate. I mean how many of these same 993s have we not seen offered here and there for years and calls to question if the actual car even exists? But then again you "buy the seller, not the car". Good luck to all in your continued searches. Hope to see you at a Cars and Coffee somewhere sometime soon. J.-

Thumbs up 1996 993 Twin Turbo Time Capsule Condition

Gentlemen,
If anyone is interested, no affiliation, I have a direct lead here in Miami to a 1996 993 TT in like new condition with only 13k miles. Recently serviced and new tires. Car looks like it was inside a bubble all these years. Car was part of a collection of a PCA member that unfortunately passed away and his family broke up the collection on auction. I saw the car, sat and started it cold first try, and everything from window sticker down to the last screw receipt is there. Bad timing for me in terms of $$$ but for whoever is looking to add to a collection it is worth grabbing it. Midnight Blue Metallic/Seal Grey, smells like new, got under it and it is dry and clean as can be. All stock including ride height. Private car club offering at $200K. PM me for contact info and more details, no time wasters please. This guy is a friend too.

Thank you.

Default New 9934S Offering

https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?m...2F302707034879

Seems to be from a Private Seller. At <$60-$65 would be a fair buy if everything checks out. All mods easily reversible. These cars seem to level at around the $60+ mark regardless of mileage if condition and service are appropriate.
