http://www.carbuffs.com/1995-Porsche...ord-CA/6240475

It's been for sale for a while (maybe April?). First by owner, now by a consignment company. Has some recent service, says two owners, has Porsche Classic Nav.

Not sure why it's had trouble selling.

went for $41,896 just now. The car had sold prior on eBay for $42,991. No idea why it sold twice, but with fees seller did not make out was well as they thought they would.

That's $44K with the vig for the buyer. Seems like ALL the money to me. Cosmetic issue on the front end. Approaching 100K miles. And most of the country has already put their driving toys away for the year.

Seller only pays a $99 listing fee on BaT. So he nets nearly the entire winning bid.

$99 isn't bad then, I thought it was $99 and a part of the fee. Knew about the buyer 5%

The seller did make a comment about it "being a 50k car all day long" but in the end both auctions of his closed at ~42 which I think is very fair. It was (shortly) listed on their website with a 49 or 50k price.

That wasn't a $50K car in 2016. It certainly isn't in 2017. And most likely won't be in 2018.

C4S on Bring a trailer auction. Seems like a average price with buyer fees. $66k plus fees. 96 C4S manual with 73k miles.

Great price! I would be surprised it not going quick assuming there are no major issues.

Just realized this car is local. If you need someone to look at it I might be able to. LMK via PM. RMG in Sunnyvale does excellent PPIs.

I agree. That sounds like a great price if there are no serious problems. I paid slightly less for my arena red targa 2.5 years ago.

So the red BaT car from last week is for sale at another dealer in Texas now...

https://www.ebay.com/itm/SHOW-QUALIT...150?rmvSB=true

I'm not sure how many times they're going to attempt to re-sell the same car and make money.
