Is SF buying Hagerty's underwriter??
Did not pay for my appraisal with State Farm......as mentioned, just pictures from many angles and interior shots.......I also mentioned it won a regional Concours in the past, which I had done with SF on a BMW in years past when it was totaled after an accident.......got maximum plus value for that car......

Just did online Grundy quote, only $600ish for 75k value! Liability only 100k, but I rarely even drive the 993. Did you get more than 100k liability? Hagerty is double price but it’s 500k liability, not sure I need it tho.

I dunno any details on the merge.

Actually it's 145 K kilometers and 91 K miles.
Being German and owning a 993 4s, this price is rather average.
A 993 4s with about 55 K miles goes for 120 to 135 K EURO.
90 to 100 K miles doesn't get you much more than 100 K EURO.
40 K miles and less will be considerably more money.

@My993_4s_Dave the odometer in one of the pics looks like it shows 94,542, but it is somewhat blurry. It’s definitely more than 91k, but it is still in miles.

993 prices in Europe are much lower nowadays, so much so that a US buyer looking for a C4S in a rare color may consider importing a car like this. I usually only post cars in North America in this thread, but this car was interesting enough that I thought someone might appreciate it.

Needs some insight please. I'm looking into a 1996 C2 that has all maintenance records and the engine was recently taken down and resealed. Car has just over 100,000 miles. My Porsche tech at the Porsche dealership informed me about this car and he personally has done all the work since new. It's a one owner car by a lady that just drives it to work and errands. Exterior and interior are in great shape. The odometer stopped working and has been replaced new so the actual mileage doesn't show, but all the paperwork is there to show when it broke and date replaced. Is this a concern that might impact the value. In the past, she has turned down 80k offer. Today, she is holding the car for me to look at in a few weeks. Anyone here know what is a fair price for her and me? I want it to be a win win. Does the odometer have any impact? Again, all the service records are there and the owner was meticulous in maintenance. Thank you. Oh, and it's a six speed manual. Also, no mods. 100% stock.

That makes the car essentially TMU, which may not be a big deal to you, but it definitely will impact resale value. I remember this auction result and can only assume it's due to the odometer issue:

All depends on what you want to do with the car.

One owner, all records since new and tech vouches for the car? I'm not worried about the odometer they all break at some point.

I'm a user. I drive my cars, so I plan to enjoy it. I guess 80K seems about right or somewhere up to 90K. I guess it doesn't matter if I plan to keep it. LOL. Thank you for the feedback.

Correct, my trusted tech from Porsche Plano has serviced this car since new. I asked him about if he knew a owner of a 993 that might sell and he mentioned this example. Owner drove it, but maintained it well. And she is open to offers. I'm guessing it will take more than 80K to get it off her hands.
