When accused of taking multiple deposits on the car and selling it out from under an unknowing party, the seller did not deny it.
Who does that? And why?

A local enthusiast from CT cut his vacation short, and took a ferry and drove hours to come see the car. Moments before he arrived I received an electronic deposit from a gentleman reportedly from Dubai for half of what I had initially required. It was a catch 22, and to be frank I was a bit dubious about the Dubai thing. Communication was also sporadic. I apologized profusely to the gentleman in Dubai, and returned his deposit. I did not seek a bidding war, and the car sold for asking price and no more. That's the who, and the why, and I deeply regret that I couldn't make all parties happy here.

As I stated in the sale thread, Ace, "[t]he car is sold to the party that first tendered the required deposit. I regret that I only have one zenith to sell, and that all parties could not be completely satisfied."

Just a comment to encourage people to include the price in their post when they link to a Craigslist ad. Eventually the link will go down and the asking price will be lost at that point. Thanks!

This just came up in the bay area. Super clean, but doesn't it seem like a really steep price for 43K miles?

Here's a good example of a 993 that should be getting more interest than it seems to be.
The seller is asking $105k which seems high for a NB even considering the mileage.
