Default 993 Upgraded Suspension PIC THREAD

I've been thinking about upgrading my suspension on my 993 C2S for sometime now and while doing a search for threads here on RL, I didn't really come across a pictorial thread of what people's 993 looks like post upgraded suspension.

I find it easier to tell by pics than guessing what heights need to be, might help me decide on which suspension package will be best for me. So let's see some pics!! And would be great if you could also let us know which suspension you have on your cars and heights or parameters set!

You are going to get several postings asking what you want out of your car. Track rat, daily driver, or something in between?

As I still need to upgrade my car I will be watching this thread. I also keep in mind where the poster is from. Fine for CA roads may not apply to the frost heaved, potholed roads here in NH.

Here's mine. 18" wheels, KW3's at about RS+10 height. If youre asking this question, then youll most likely want to get coilovers just because of the height adjustability. There are other spring/shock combos with adjustable perches though also.

Moton Triples, cup car ride height, with RS uprights. It's low, really low, great for track not so much for anything else.

No tracking for me so really just for aesthetics. Everything is stock on the car so just wanting to lower the car a little bit. Want the car to look a little bit more aggressive, that's all. But I've seen some PSS10's installed and the car looks a bit lower than what I would prefer....essentially want to get a visual of what might it look like with certain suspensions and height settings.

Similar setup to Paddy's. Thinking we set the ride height at RS, but it was a while ago...

Call Tom at TPC in Jessup, MD. Talk to them, let them know what you are look for, to do and they can suggest some options based on your budget.

No affiliation, just a happy customer.

You have a lot of adjustability in the PSS10 shocks. Here's mine setup at around ROW Sport height.

Here's a link to my post from early last year. Original shocks and struts were replaced with new Konis and M033 springs, which lowered the car about 1.25" from standard US ride height. The car is street use only and now has 109K miles.

In the photo, the car is on 17" aftermarket winter wheels. It wears 18" BBS Sport Classic II wheels during warmer weather. Handling is great, ride is fine and not noticeably different from before, and the looks are improved. Only on the worst uneven pavement transitions is there an occasional scrape. I should have done this a long time ago.

Vaguely recall this type of thread a while ago, but it's easier to run another. PSS9 (soon to be replaced...), H&R sways, solid mounts, monoball F/R mounts, I'm at 104/103.5mm F/R, on 18s

I recently installed the Bilstein B6XT with RoW M030 springs. Ride height was measured by the shop to be RS +10, but I think it may be a bit higher - maybe RoW sport?

Still, I'm very happy with it!

^^^ That looks like RS+10 to me. You could measure to know 100%.

I adjusted my PSS10s to be at RS+10 (134mm F, 117mm R) as well. Keep in mind that saying RS+10 is technically within spec for both RS and ROW M030. So, technically I'm at both RS and ROW M030 heights.

OK, thanks!

To be honest, the alignment shop said the measurements were very close to RS +10, but I just thought it looked a bit higher. I have not measured myself. I'm happy regardless.
