Wow I gotta get one. The others I've seen had the more subdued evo front bumper but this one will match mine perfectly hehehe.

I made a return trip to Target, the automotive section this time, and lo & behold, they had two of those puppies. I got one and snuck it into the closet. I have an odd feeling Santa is gonna get me a 993 model for xmas! Thanks for discovering this... the model is really nice.

Darn it... didn't get a chance to stop by at Target today.

Pretty soon, you'll see more and more p-cars at Target parking lot.

Gotta go to the mall and pick up the last two black ones.

Default 1/5 Scale GT2

1/5 Scale FG GT2?????? Well OK, check out my buddy's!

These pics are about 1.5 yrs old by now and don't show off the GT2 body very well, but you sure can see the massive scale of the model. Besides the insane motor and the special short chasis you have to buy from FG for the scale look of the GT2, my favorite upgrade on my buddy's GT2 are the VENTED FRONT DISK BRAKES. Yes, he is insane like everyone on this board. This car does actually have the potential to be lethal. It can certainly take your foot off were it to hit you at top speed.

And of course I have to show you a few photos of my Kyosho Super Ten FW-04 with a 1.3 bhp motor, 2-speed transmission, carbon finber,.. blah, blah, blah!!!!! This car is good for 50+ mph.

I went to Eurosport here in Virginia Beach this afternoon to pick up some parts I ordered. As soon I walked in their display room, I found 4 of the Target/Porsche models their graphics techs bought all 4 that target had and redoing alll the graphics. They're even repainting one to speed yellow I think

None in the city of Chicago either. Go figure, Target's highest volume store doesn't have any. Just got done making a friend at Target HQ try to track some down in their computer system. She says there are some in Iowa.

Hey guys; two things to mention:

1) I bought two of them this afternoon. The quality is amazing for only $30! I strongly recommend getting one for your collection.

2) My local Targe' just put them out this morning...so my advice is to be patient as I suspect that they haven't been put out on the floor at all the stores yet. You can call the store and ask to speak to someone in the toy dept...even though they are displayed at the end of one of the auto racks it was a kid in the toy dept. that actually put them on the shelves at the my local store and knew exactly what I was calling about when I spoke to him this morning. Cheers,

Funny enough I actually have that exact RC model in plain silver. It also comes in yellow. Both models with no decals whatsoever on it.

oh memories....I am a real 1/8 scale RC freak. I still have a Serpent Veteq (what a terrible car), a Mugen MRX3 and a Serpent Vector NT. For the dirt I also have a Kyosho MP7.5 Kanai edition....

Add me to the list.

I searched the Automotive section at Target, didn't see it, and then moved on to the toy section. Still didn't see it, then I was back to the Automotive section and I found it at the end of one of the isles.
It's about the last thing I need but for 30 bucks I couldn't resist.

It sure is a great piece for the price.

Well, I cleaned out my local Target. As other have posted, it was on an end cap in the automotive section and not easily seen from the main aisle.

A great looking car that is a good value, until you ruin it like I did by buying three of them. (Yes, two of them are gifts.) I must say, it's rather quick and is capable of a pretty nice spin within its own length, if you're at "top speed", hit reverse and throw the directional control to one side.

Thanks, again, Mike!

Can't say my normally ultra-mellow doggy is too fond of it, though...

bought mine tonight...allready in a million pieces..I think Im going to give mine a color change and get the bling bling off the wheels...I just happen to have some Arena Red in the garage...I think the interior is going to get some work done to it as well. I found mine near the automotive isle but on a display area facing the aisle..might want to check there as well

Mark,
It is a problem that we live so close to each other since we share the same Target. I guess I need to go farther down the road to get mine...
