I can't believe I lost a star today to those Speed Channel sniveling complainers over on the racing board. Now I know how Martin and the rest of you guys (save for Viken and Robin) feel. I will not remove the rating yet with the hope I can kiss some butt to get it back up there. I guess I am not a worthy contributor any more. <img src="graemlins/crying.gif" border="0" alt="[crying]" />

I gave you a 5 too EJ.
I have renounced my rating, since after 2 months on the board, I suddenly got a rating of 1 star (nr of people rating me were also 1...). So for fear of sinking to 0, I chickened out and disabled the rating.

I gave you 5 stars...some bozo must be out to torpedo your rating...I was sinking fast, down to 4 stars on my way to 1 (Along with V8 George). I couldn't take the rejection any more, ergo, I turned the Stars off. You know you are a 5 Star dude...

Yeah, come on guys, let's not take this rating business too seriously... We all know in our hearts who is good don't we?
Actually, the only persons with an undangered 5 rating are person with excellent knowledge and an unflappable, unemotional, impartial style, like the legendary Viken. The "weaker" among us, who sometimes respond with emotion or humor, are sometimes shot down. But what would this board be without some humor?

Having turned the rating off, also gives me a new feeling of freedom. I no longer think, "gosh, should I really say this?" Upon which, I would like to leave you all with the saying from the famous chinese philosopher, Confucius:
"A 993 can help you forget a woman, but a woman can not help you forget a 993..." If there are any women rennlisters out there, just replace "woman" with "man"...
