993 Rs
Only asking, is that correct for rhd production? I was under the impression that for the UK market there were 41 RS models and 7 RS Clubsport versions registered.
So if there are 70 rhd RS produced worldwide that would make 22 available for Australia, Japan, Singapore & other rhd markets, they must be a real rarity in these parts.
roygarth do you know your build number i beleive mine is a fairly early car 116 / 1050.

I have build number, which is quite a late number, at work!
3 right hookers went to NZ. Anyone have any info on Oz, HK, Singapore allocations? (1 Singapore car is now in NZ)
I would imagine that quite a few would have gone to Japan too, as its quite a 911 haven. However the Japnese prefer LHD exotics, so it would be interesting to find out how many LHD vs RHD cars are there. The impression i got whilst being in japan is that the 993 RS & GT models have almost a cult following.
I saw 1 RHD clubsport in the UK, whilst i was at T9 motorsport a week or so ago. 13K miles, in for a new clutch. Looked like someones track toy from the belt wear on the seats. Had just been purchased and sold on (45K plays 58K.)

Hi Piers
Sorry if my post was confusing. A dealer had purchased the car and then sold it on. When i saw the car it was in for a clutch b4 the new owner received the car.
Hope this clears it up

What joy, to be rich enough to be able to kiss £13,000 goodbye instead of placing a £20 ad in 911&PW!
