It's of that order, not many. Hence in UK RHD go for £60K versus £40K for LHD!

Only asking, is that correct for rhd production? I was under the impression that for the UK market there were 41 RS models and 7 RS Clubsport versions registered.

So if there are 70 rhd RS produced worldwide that would make 22 available for Australia, Japan, Singapore & other rhd markets, they must be a real rarity in these parts.

roygarth do you know your build number i beleive mine is a fairly early car 116 / 1050.

I'm taking figures from April 2003 issue of 911&PW. Total built is 1141 of which 48 were RHD sold in UK (implying there were other RHD but it does not say how many) and 274 were Clubsport.

I have build number, which is quite a late number, at work!

3 right hookers went to NZ. Anyone have any info on Oz, HK, Singapore allocations? (1 Singapore car is now in NZ)

I would imagine that quite a few would have gone to Japan too, as its quite a 911 haven. However the Japnese prefer LHD exotics, so it would be interesting to find out how many LHD vs RHD cars are there. The impression i got whilst being in japan is that the 993 RS & GT models have almost a cult following.

I saw 1 RHD clubsport in the UK, whilst i was at T9 motorsport a week or so ago. 13K miles, in for a new clutch. Looked like someones track toy from the belt wear on the seats. Had just been purchased and sold on (45K plays 58K.)

There is at least 3 993 RS's in Hong Kong.
My mechanic told me there was 6 bought in altogether but I do not know his source.

Hi Piers

Sorry if my post was confusing. A dealer had purchased the car and then sold it on. When i saw the car it was in for a clutch b4 the new owner received the car.

Hope this clears it up

Thanks Phil

What joy, to be rich enough to be able to kiss £13,000 goodbye instead of placing a £20 ad in 911&PW!
