I think most cars have been modified to some extent, some more than others, so its difficult to assess which has a higher value when considering all the other possible factors. So one way to view value is if I had a stock cab and targa, same year, mileage, options, color and maintenance history, then sold it piece by piece, would the targa be more valuable because of the expensive top?

OP, buy the targa if you think its right for you. I'll guess you will enjoy driving it if it is set up properly. If you don't like the targa you could always flip it, buy a cab, and put the excess cash back in the bank.

That said, any 993 is pretty sweet.

Think of the 993 Targa as the ugliest Kardashian. Still pretty easy on the eyes
You need glasses, man.

Hahaha!!!

Wow, all that heavy glass at the highest point of the car sure had made you Targa owners sensitive!

OK, maybe Kardashian was too
harsh. If I find any photos of Ruth Buzzi wearing a lead tiara, I'll be sure and post them.

Have a good one, you crazy Targa folks

I don't own and don't plan to own a 993 Targa. The glasses point was about thinking Kardashians are good looking, especially the ugly ones.

True, but to complete my analogy, I needed to come up with a family of relatively good looking sisters, and that was all I could come up with at the moment.

Meanwhile, how are you looking these days? They probably all look better than 99% of the people on this board, even the ugly sister lol

You know what they say about glass houses and throwing stones....right?

If I applied as much makeup as they do, I'd not fit into a 993, I'm sure.

What do they say about glass houses? That you should not put Kardashians in those due to public decency laws?
