We also just turned our 2 TDIs in, and I'm driving my 993 every day. I've driven my car in plenty of snow, but here in northern VA I, too, worry about the other guy hitting me. We replaced the Jettas with an '02 Boxster S for my wife and an '05 4Runner that we'll carpool in for snow days and use when we need a 4 seater.

In the next year or so I expect to do a mid-life renewal of the 993 like Brian has done, and it'll definitely be a nice-day car, but for now, unless it's snowing, I'm driving it :-)
