I like BBS LM's best on 993's. And compared with E88's or the "Cup" wheels pictured above, I prefer the flatter face of LM's than the bulging spoke look. The front wheels look especially odd with bulging spokes.

Wheels upgrades... thoughts?
A wheel upgrade would decrease rotating mass, unsprung weight, and moment of inertia. All found in a lighter wheel.

+1 .. Ain't that right .... uh hum .... Less un-sprung weight is where its at.
Have look at Ray's Engineering of Japan. https://www.rayswheels.co.jp
The Volk Racing series model TE-37 wheel variants are uber light weight and look the part on a 993 series .... Oh she-it! ... all of the wheels posted look great on the 993 series .... "Not all are lightweight" though ....

Since you asked, any wheel that is heavier, producing greater rotating mass, unsprung weight, and an increase in the moment of inertia, is not an UPGRADE; but rather a change in look.

I like the look of BBS LM the best but the ease of cleaning/maintaining a simple 5 spoke is worth mentioning. (I have Techart)

Your Cups look great, keep em.
The BBS options look way too busy IMO.
But at the same time, I really liked these on my 993 WB and they are "busy" also.
cough cough

I too feel the bulge face of the BBS CUP is too much for the front.
I'm a LM guy a Stock Twist guy and a RUF guy.
Currently in the same situation for my 964 but here is my 993 on LM's taken last weekend.
