Smile Gert does it again...

Superior service, competitive pricing, what's not to like? I recently ordered a GT2 front splitter....I knew at the time it was aftermarket, it says so in the product description. I don't think I could have afforded a Factory GT2 splitter. This particular fiberglass splitter, was made in Germany. The finish looks gorgeous....we'll wait and see on the fit, but coming from Gert, it will be excellent, of this I am sure. Delivery, it was here in under two weeks.

The unique aspect of this splitter, it's one piece, not having a bolted together center section as we see in other units, Rennspeed as an example. Cost, just a little over $500 US, with some shipping, less than $100 and no sales tax.

I also got the Factory 993 RS side skirts and all the little bits required for installation. These aren't cheap...but, my last set lasted 12 years before I broke the mounting tabs off. BTW, I don't think they were properly installed in the first place. This time I have a very in-depth DIY that will be the guide line.

If you don't know about Gert Carnewal, check out www.carnewal.com You'll see some of the tastiest mods imaginable, almost all of which are sourced from the Porsche Factory.

Agreed!

I just ordered some Turbo S scoops and side markers. Yes, he's far away, but the quality of the products and his great customer service more than offset any price or distance.

Thanks Gert!

+1.... Oh yeah.

Going back to say year 2000 was my initial business exchange with Gert. Through Gert's newly formed firm www.carnewal.com we were sourcing the PAG Tequipment HiFi system for the Frau's then neu '00 Boxster. Heading out of Frankfurt in the afternoon en-route to our scheduled meet in the Brussels area I go... Once at the Brussels airport area plus the mandatory roadway confusion, I finally arrive at our meet location. With the correct Tequipment and Gert waiting for me, Son-of-a-Bitch, low and behold I'd left both my wallet and Passport back in Frankfurt... Gert could sense I was sincere, with me leaving with what I came for and wiring the funds the following day. Oh yeah ... Gert's a good egg!

Who's 993 doesn't have the Carnewal Front Protection Bar fitted . . . . . saved my *** more than once.

Ordered a bunch of stuff from Gert over the years, starting with his front protection bar in 2001 and have always been very happy. Can't say enough good things about him!

Bought many things. Just be aware I did get slapped with an import duty on my 2nd oil cooler. Don't blame gert for that, and it wasn't UPS so there weren't 82,000 in fees... Just the 2% or whatever.

splitter and OE RS side skirts....I like where this is going

i saw you have a DIY already for the skirts, but when i did mine i referred to Jackals diy a few times and that was very helpful so it's worth a look: http://www.jackals-forge.com/lotus/993/M002_aero.htm . followed it to a T and they turned out great.

also got mine from gert@carnewel. very pleased with his service and everything ive bought from him.

The front end is all apart now, but the Euro front bumper, Euro amber corner lights, RS chin spoilers, RS washer kit, and RS hood support (and other associated bits and pieces) which are going on soon all came from Gert.

Very easy to deal with, good prices, and great service!
