They look super. Do you have to send them your frames? Are the hardback parts reproductions?

You do not need to send Waldemar any seat cores or parts. I believe the shells are reproductions. I think that he uses a lot of original parts (frames, etc) from core seats.

You will need to have patience - I ordered these in early March.

Default Love Them

You’re going to be impressed. Mine arrived in the Spring. My fav mod to date. And my car is tastefully modified. These are beautiful!

Hmm, this is really interesting - and has got me thinking hard…!

question for you experts - my 993 C2 is all black/black with red calipers/turbo twist wheels. If I were to spec out custom seat/seatback, what colors would you guys suggest beyond black?

Maybe pick another color from the interior. Let's say a dull silver from some of the switchgear perhaps? That won't be too over the top.

I would either go with a high gloss black or stick with the standard Porsche charcoal/carbon grey color seat backs. Here are a couple pictures for you, first is a picture of original hardbacks on my black/black C4S and the second is gloss black on my polar/black C4S. (NOTE: neither of these are Waldemar seats)

Im considering ordering a pair for my C4s. How much $ down does he need to start? Im worried about giving the entire amount at start due to the delays I have heard about. Are they still $5500? Thanks in advance!

I believe I put down a 2500 Euro deposit, which is a little under $3k. Prices may have gone up so don’t quote me on that. His requested deposit was a bit more but the payment system I used would only allow up to 2500€. He was fine with it when I told him.

Whatever the current price, he does not require the entire amount up front. I believe @albin99885 and my seats are just waiting for the Porsche stickers, as he hasn’t asked me for the balance yet.

These are beautiful, very tempting. What seat color combo would go well with an Arctic Silver C2S with Classic Grey interior? Wonder if there’s a different seat back color that might go well (maybe black?)

I need to stop spending money on this car

I would go with either arctic silver or the standard Porsche carbon grey color. I would not do black if you have grey interior.

You need contrast. I would upgrade the dash/shifter/e-brake to CF and do the same for the seat hard backs.
If thats too much for your 'girl', stay with the standard Porsche grey with fine flecks.
Have fun. You only come this way once.

My car came with some of his seats. The leather was not great and saggy within very few miles. I chatted with Rudy about this issue as well (RIP). His had the same issue. Ultimately I got mine reupholstered. The black leather was also modern with a matte finish that didn't match the interior. YMMV.

i remember Rudy voicing his disenchantment with these seats after having them in use for not a long time.
