Makes me think just having these inserts sprayed and reinstalled along with the whole bumper cover is a less costly way to go than asking a shop to fill in the gaps and will look fine on a black car but we’ll see what a shop asks for in $$$$ to fill the gaps.
If there ever is another run and I can figure out what to modify, I can always get this change rolled into the newer version. Any diagrams and detailed descriptions would be appreciated!

It took some time to get them to fit 100% perfect. Gmorat is right about using body filler to build up the surface. Then you need to sand it down and test fit. Repeat this process over and over again until the gaps look good. You want to be able to install and remove the plug without it being super tight. The primer and paint will add to the size . I used detail spray to lube them up when pressing them in after paint was dry.
Its a process but if you have time it can turn out right. If you don't have time I would pay the money to have the bumpers filled by a good bodyshop.

Gmorat, my turn signals were hitting in this area. I dremmeled the angle down a bit. I don't think it hurt the structural integrity of the part.

If there is ever another run, I will verify this is a problem and modify before I order the 3D prints.

Chances of another run = zippy chances but never say never.

I am looking to buy a set of these if someones has some regardless of having been painted or not.

Or maybe we can collectively pitch in and buy the printing file from those who worked hard to design the part so this can be open source?!

I still have some sets of these but until we are not sheltering in place there's not a lot I can do to ship them.

Do you have a set available for me too? I'm looking for a set please.

I'm using USPS click and pay - then arranging a collection. They come and collect packages you're shipping for free. It's very good.

I was going to say that a few people have reached out about sets but that I'm reluctant to go anywhere I don't have to in a lockdown. This of course is a great solution for me as I can just pack them ready to go so PM and we can make the necessary!
