While it is nice to see everyone getting on the Riviera Blue bandwagon, for the record only 24 model year 1995 993s in Riviera Blue were brought into the USA by Porsche. 17 were coupes and 7 were cabs. If you have one of those 24 cars, yours is rare...all the others are just paint jobs.
Caramba, how to rain on a parade . . .
I saw this Speedster being built by Colin and his team when my 993 Coupe was in for a RS LWF and a load of other stuff.
The attention to detail of these guys is second to none, and the car's a beauty! And its beauty is not just skin deep.
By the by, my car's a paint job too, in Riviera and I couldn't care a tuppenny damn about rarity, mine's a daily driver and in near-perfect restored condition . . . and I love it.
Imagine receiving a Rivi Blue 993 Speedster under wraps & pulling back its cover for the 1st time
...Sid (AKA RLer 600RR / WhiteCab) shared some of that excitement with me today! THANK YOU, Santa Sid, for the wonderful surprise gift!!!

I believe you but I'm curious how you came to find these figures? I have a Blue Turquoise 993 (1996) and was curious how many were brought into the US.

Mine is a 97 and its Riviera Blue from factory and not a paint job 💙
Sid-- When I called you from San Jose, you said to call back. Left messages: have time-sensitive info for you.

You've told me several brilliant functions for your added/unlabeled switches. Some are detailed above, but I can't wait for you to post the full details, straight from the source.
Likewise, I bet your admirers would like a 'spec sheet' when you get time. For example:
I recognize the jeweler's-quality center caps by Boothe Designs.
Likewise for the mint-condition TechArt wheels ...classic gloss black 5-spoke fans with silver outer loop. 19"?
...& so much more goodness

Missed you at last month's PCA Werks Reunion Concours, but happy to see 9m's Marc Clowes driving your new Blue on your behalf. Bet he brought the trophy you guys earned home to you, but even better if judges gave you 2 -- 1 for your CA trophy room & 1 for Marc's mantel in Britain!
Marc below, who told me he's been a Concours judge 13+ years
