I wanted these wheels so bad I asked if they could be machined to fit. No dice.

Tire choice is also an issue.

Track use, rolled fenders and Yokos 295s fit w/o altering rims.

And then with rolled fenders, you will have wheel well liner fit issues.

275's on a 11" wheel will be very streched.

Depends on the make/style tire. I'm on 285/30 on my 11's and going to a 275/35 wouldn't be drastic unless it was a very narrow brand 275. All tires measure differently.

That being said, the 996 11x18 wheels are et45 so they're 15mm out further than mine. I could MAYBE fit a 1/2" wider outer lip if I was pushing it. With rolled fenders and a narrow tire with low profile you MIGHT be able to fit em but you'd have to dial a ton of camber to get em to clear... depends on how low you are and the travel your suspension allows.

Return the wheels and tires, neither are correct for your NB, nor are 275s even right for 11s (I run 295s on my 11" BBS on a WB).

very unlikely you will be able to utilize 11 x 18s on an unmodified NB 993
but
275s work GREAT on the same wheels if your interest is running that size for a specific class AND stretching the tyres to get maximum tyre footprint to the road.
A few of us did that successfully for several years as we played the rules game at local AX events.
I used Yoko AD08s to good effect.
