Lighting upgrade: new headlight lenses, T-lights, Phillips Xtreme vision high beams, Phillips Vision plus fogs, replaced dr fog with used one that wasn't yellow. Was motivated by overcharging issue ( fixed w/ new alt) which killed the headlight bulbs. Just in time for inspection this week and then she is parked for the winter.

Took it up to the mountains and had some fun. Expect record breaking heat today in LA...and close to 90F on Thanksgiving....

Finished a major tune up (plugs, wires, SAI port flush, SAI valve replacement, new intake stacks, fuel filter and pressure regulator, injectors cleaned). Did the drive cycles to get the codes ready and got it smogged. It passed right away!

Installed the FDM Golden Rod and SSK! It's so awesome--why did I wait so long to do this upgrade! It was an relatively easy DIY. Spent far too much time search for a the flying cir-clip or whatever those little bugger are called! Everything else was fairly easy since I was using a lift.

Now time to get out and drive this machine!

Unfortunately, played trading places...Pcar in the back shed, tractor in the front garage for winter duty. Lots to do this year on the C4S, hopefully.

Default Something stupid...

Adjusted the control cable for the engine compartment latch mechanism today. To prevent small parts from dropping down where I couldn't get them, I stuffed a rag in front to the cooling fan. When I finished, I forgot about the rag and just closed the lid. Later I went for a ride and about 10 miles out, the ABS and Alternator lights came on. Had just enough juice to limp home and when I opened the lid, I noticed the alternator and AC belts were both busted and the rag was now jammed up in a tight ball below the pulley, (which was now nice and shiny!). Had to pull the rag out in pieces but everything looks ok. I'll stick a note for myself somewhere next time!
