Got the new Kehule A/C evaporator installed. Did a vacuum pump down to check for leaks, all good after 6 hours. Pulled the A/C compressor and started disassembly to rebuild it. This is quite the project and I can't wait till it is done. Should be nice and cool and save a bunch of cool cash in the process!!!!!

Very "cool" project - would be interested to see photos and know what the weight savings is with new Kuehl plate and fin design evaporator.
Getting the grandson ready for his first ride... it will be a while though before he can ride facing forwards! I remember taking his dad for rides in the 914 in the middle pretty much right after he could sit up on his own (we added a middle seat belt- yeah, the "good old days."

Finally got around to fixing the lower center console trim piece using PVC sheets and plumber's glue. Finished it using steel wool followed by a small polishing wheel. Not too shabby!
