Was this car originally black or did some early 993's not come with engine bays that were color matched to the exterior?
Polar Silver is the original color and it is original paint. I don’t know why the engine bay doesn’t match. I’ll be asking the question when it’s in next week for service. If anyone knows I’d be interested in understanding.
Thank you. Is it behind passenger side wheel well? Since I already have the resistor I might as well use it since the car is 25 years old. When I say surge, it will be on low speed then suddenly go to high speed for a few seconds. Could even be a loose connection at the resistor but I should check.
It's in front of the passenger wheel. Pull the wheel off, remove the liner and it's right there.
Picked up my varioram intake parts I dropped off at the powdercoater on Monday. Cleaned up all the taped edges, removed the powder coating from the "varioram" lettering and thoroughly washed everything (twice) to ensure no abrasive residue ends up in the cylinders.
Installed my Euro Rear Lights and the from Euro Signal with Bumperette Delete Inserts. Working on the fog light installation / wiring. Ordered in Germany, they are red and from the "S-Version"
Bumper conversion complete! Down the slippery slope we go - on to the next...
looks great congrats! Doing the same on my ocean blue 993 in the next two weeks . Is it a new Euro bumper or a US one with patched bumperette openings? Where did you source your fog ducts?
