What did you do with your 993 today

Drifting
Today the weather was cool and damp, so I decided to do 2 projects that I had the necessary parts for:
1. Installed the door pocket reinforcements on both sides.
2. Removed both exterior door handles and installed new gaskets.
Next: Put on the track tires to get ready for Autocrossing on Saturday.

Left it parked in the garage in California while I drove the GT3 at PCNA Atlanta, Experience package along with the 911 Turbo as a b-day gift from my lady. Amazing cars...but looking forward to returning home and driving my 993 again!

Burning Brakes
Watching dust lightly settle on it in the garage, because I didn't want to drive it without the speedometer installed (the odometer is being repaired).

Installed the GT2 wing back on (purists, look away) and tracked the car for the day at Palmer Motorsport Park located on Whiskey Hill in Palmer Mass. Then gave her a bath and tucked her away for the next AX in a few weeks.
Palmer Motorsport is like having a roller coaster in your backyard. 200' of elevation changes and 21 turns on a 2.3 mile track. The owner, staff, and all the members I have met there are good people, and real enthusiasts. I drove on one of their member days with only three other cars on the track. What an incredible day!
Taking a break between runs. At the upper left corner you can see T1. Respect it until you know it, and then respect it some more!
Washed and ready to go again

Drove 300 miles to RI...and had lunch on the deck, rear deck that is. . Then I'll drive it 300 miles back to work Tuesday very early am, then back to RI Wednesday early pm, then home Sat morn. In between there will be craft brewery runs, beach cruising, and general fun runs. Expect to put 1200+ miles on it in a very short period of time. DD'ing it again like I did when I first got it, still loving it.

Gots some wheels...
Fikse 3 piece 18" modular wheels, 18", forged centers, s...used, damn they are beautiful. I have pissed away $$$$ on inadequate wheels, stock 993, MY2002 996 wheels (They bend), O-Z Allegritta, they really bend oh so easily. Some time it pays to spend more to get what you really want....
