Suspension help
Hello guys.
I am looking to buy this suspension setup from someone who claims it is a Bilstein HD with Techart spring setup. Can anyone confirm this and give me your input?
I was possibly looking to go M030/M033 with B8's but the price of this seller's setup is pretty attractive..

Those looks identical to what I have. My TechArt spring originally were white stampd with their codes (37/97 front) but I painted them in that color.
About the shocks I do have the HD.
Input? Not much I can give you, they are comfortable vs my original Monroe sport (M030??) suspension in my euro 993tt which is stiff as heck! I recently restored/overhauled my C2 and I have driven on the street for little time, no track yet.
Here are the codes of the shocks

I can't comment on the tech art springs, but I couldn't be more pleased with the MO33's with the Bilstein B8's. Perfect ROW ride height with a compliant but solid suspension. And sold by Carnewal at a very reasonable price.

Carnewal(Gert) will soon be taking a lot of money from me as my "cart" is loaded to the sky with parts right now.
Put it this way:The seller is asking $700 for that whole setup..What do you think?

If you DIY the install, I would take the 'used' ( @10K mi.) in a heartbeat - if a shock went soft, no biggie to pull & have rebuilt - same with a new shock, even if under warranty .... if the install & set-up is contracted out, it sounds as if all new would boost the confidence level

My theory is that a used set like this will cost $700 while a brand new set from Gert will cost about $1500 and may be the better buy as everything is brand new...

I'd lean new too. Even if you do your own install who wants to do that twice (plus as previously noted you'd still be out an alignment) Plus, unless the car drives horrible, I'd wait until I was certain I knew what I wanted or you risk buyers remorse. I'd read this forum, try and get rides in local folks cars to find what you like etc.
