With spacers on the rears, they work on wide-bodied 993s too:

thèse don't work for me, but that's only because they don't keep spinning when the car stops

This should work for you then. Might be just a tad too tall.

If anyone is interested i have a set in 996 fitment (18x8/10) i don't need anymore with 80% tread tires. They were a second set of street wheels for my 951 which is all track now and they wouldn't look right on my 3.2L.

I love the look and was holding onto them but they have been sitting in my garage for the past 3 years unused. I would rate at 7 out of 10. Great driver quality wheel, all are straight. Mild curb rash on two and a few scuffs but great 5 footer. Includes two sets of center caps; one very beat up one brand new set. Hopefully find someone in the San Diego area that is interested.

...and the lightest OE's on the market. Why I got my set.

IMHO, Carrera III are just blunt looking compared to the MY02's.

Agree, Carrera III's are ugly to me. I think the MY02's are among the best looking of the factory wheels.

Agreed with all! These are a great looking OE option that still look appropriate on a 993.

I've always loved the pic in Goofball's avatar.

I was lucky that they came with the car when I purchased it. I do like the Carrera III's too. I had never seen them on our model until introduced to them from this thread.

Thanks Rob - Wish I could say I took it! But it was taken by a friend who has the right equipment and skills.
