For those of you who were looking to tone it down just a bit, I finally got the inserts for the SuperCups by www.carchemistry.com (I have nothing to do with them) Perfect fit and toned it down just enough where they are perfect for me. I really liked they way they sounded before, but frankly they were just too loud overall. These inserts slide right in, and basically took the deep loud bass resonance rumble out of them. Since the RSRs were WAY to quiet for me, and the open pipes were a bit too loud, these are perfect!
F.Y.I.
Which set did you get? Did you weld them in or bolt them in? Did it quiet it down enough to drive thru a enclosed parking garage without setting off car alarms?
Thanks for the post!
Yeh, please let us know which part exactly you bought. To minimize a chance of misunderstanding you could post a link to the specific product or/and an image of it is there is such on their web page.
I got the three disk setup. They just slide right in, snugly, and I used a stainless sheetmetal screw to hold them in place. The pipes already have a small hole in them, just line up the last disk with that hole, drill a small hole into the disk through the hole, and thread it in. Took all of 5 minutes total.

On the track, I love those things. I never have to worry about hitting the rev limiter. My ears remind me to shift.
