Best deal I ever had with PCA was the CVR region teaming with Skip Barber and offering their one day event using your Porsche at Lime Rock. Great experience at a crazy good price.

News flash: you don't need to be pca member to meet great car people.
I'll add that probably less than half P-Car owners track their cars, which is where you'll probably see most of the advantages of pca membership.
So tell me again, what's the point? For a crappy magazine that goes straight into the trash? Or is it to stick on your for sale ad "pca member owned" that's one of my favorites

Kevin,
PCA has a good mix of people and events. I belong to many other clubs and can honestly say that with the PCA you get the best bang for the buck.
I don't know when the last time was you looked at a Panorama magazine, but it is not trash at all ... far from it.
Happy Holidays!
Best Regards,
Al

Interesting read.
Too bad the seller isn't forthcoming about the car. He didn't respond to my fair "make and offer" on Ebay. Perhaps he really believes he's got an $80K car.
Pointed him to this thread, hopefully he comes to his senses and understands the likelihood of someone buying that car without first finding out the true issues is near zero.
The car in question can have a great future as a driver once it's sorted.
The PCA is a great organization. There's not a publication in existence that has not retracted a submission because of some less than honorable submission.
