For those interested Holtz Autohouse
in Rochester New York has a beautiful
97 turbo for sale. I passed by it
yesterday and turned around for a look.
It has 21K miles. Calipers paint to match,
belts to match. I also looks to
be lowered. The sales guy said it was
traded in on a GT3. They said they
were asking mid 80's

Their phone number is 585-334-1600. I don't have a salesperson's name there, but you may want to post a note or email someone in the Western NY or Niagara PCA club.

I don't know much about Holtz or their reputation. They are a large dealership in Rochester with many high end brands.

If you research this car and have an interest, I can look at it for you and give you a detailed citique. Am about 45 minutes away - less if I drive my 993...

No guarantees I won't buy it though (just kidding).

I am not familiar with many of their sales people. I talked to one guy, who called the "porsche guy" on his cell phone. I asked him a few questions about the calipers and the suspension.

Mike - Thanks. I did a google search and got the web address...took a look but it's not yet listed in their online inventory. I'll let you know if I need help looking at her.

993944S2 - Do you remember if it was fully optioned out...ie carbon fiber, sports seats, etc? Mid-80s is on the high side even if it is fully loaded.

I did not open the doors but it did look like the carbon seat backs and the gauges were ?? silver I think. If you like, the car is only 2 minutes from my office. Send me a list of questions and I'll run over. I could snap a few digitals...

A reputable sales person at Holtz is Gavin Rigg. He is the Sales Manager at their Range Rover franchise but, may be able to do a Porsche sale. Gavin is a track guy and knows more about Porsches than most of the Holtz Porsche sales people. I bought an Audi from Gavin and he was easy to work with. I have no affiliation with Holtz.

PS. I think the car is actually Speed Yellow. It has been lowered to Euro ride height.

Not sure what you are looking for in a Speedster but from the pics it looks nice...

Thanks for the lead - silver, black or yellow would be my preferred color choices for a Speedster. Mileage is on the high side for a Speedster, but I'll keep an eye open to see how the bidding goes.
