Default Porsche insignia removal

Can the Porsche insignia be removed without damage to the cap or the insignia?

Ron, I believe there is a single rivet holding these on but I don't see it in the photo. Otherwise they use an adhesive or double sided tape.

Soak it in adhesive remover like 3M and it will come off.

Now that I think of it, one of mine came off when using the air blaster dryer on the wheels after washing the car. I used silicone glue to re-attach.

I had tried the 3M adhesive remover without success. These are from the older cup2 to wheels looking at them from it looks like a couple of them actually have rivets I'll try to take a picture the back side. I'll also hit it with a heat gun see if it does anything.

Use a bit of heat and try and slide a plastic spatula under the edge that might do it. I think my old ones were riveted but I replaced with new that use adhesive.

If it is a metal cap then it has rivets holding them on and they will need to be ground off from the back side. Plastic caps are attached with adhesive.

Yes that is my situation, riveted. I have a photo of the back I've been trying to post. If I can figure out how to get that picture posted I think it'll be clear that I need to grind up the rivets as stated

To paint when I paint my new wheels's so have good color match. However I don't think they're coming off because there's so-called rivets I ground down appeared to have threads on the ends
