If you are serious about buying a car consider having an appraisal done. I have used the appraisal service in the link below
http://expertautoappraisals.com/cate...se-inspection/
Go to and click on recent work at the top of the page and scroll down till you see speed yellow 993. Appraiser discusses what makes this car valuable including what are considered special or rare options.

But remember. Locks are for honest people. Your work or local Panera will provide you with a new IP address.

$150k for a smurf color 993 Cab. You have got to be kidding me. That may just be the worst value ever.
Based on their intrinsic value, heres where I find 993s should be valued:
993 nb: $38k to $50k depending on miles, color, and options
993 cab: $35k to $50k
993 C4s: $45k to $60k
993 C2s: $45k to $65k
993TT: $75k to $100k

Intrinsic value refers to the value of a product determined through fundamental analysis without reference to its market value.
How would you define fundamental analysis in the context of 993's and how do you differentiate it from market value. Not making a case for or against the current state of pricing, however [for 993's] it is no where near the bubble territory that the 60's muscle cars and the Ferraris reached years ago.

For instance, If you gave me the choice of a Ferrari 430 or a standard 993 cab for $150k, the ferrari it is all day every day.
993 cab or slightly used 2014 BMW 335 for $40k...993
I pulled it out of my ***, but I'm pretty happy with those figures actually.

Unfortunately, this is the one Cab (BT/black interior) that I'd want more than my '95 SY Cab. But $125K? Wowzer.
Opo, you a buyer? If you are, then can you and your beautiful bride adopt me? The only problem is that I don't want to live in or around Houston.
