I run mine on 9 all around on our less than smooth roads. The 9 setting is considered the comfort setting but is still a fair bit more firm than a Euro M030 setup.
Shant, the HD's I would imagine would be similiar to a M030 suspension, but with a bit more rebound, if I recall correctly from Viken's report.

Ah John, so you did try the 9. Sounds like it handles the Taipei roads okay (I know what they are like...I have been there!).
There seems to be a non-linear difference between 9 and 8 as compared to 8 and 7. Must be the way the valves are designed.

I changed the fronts to 9 which was very different I think mine were set on about 6 it is really hard to tell because there are no tick marks for each number that I could see anyway. On the rear which way do you turn I cannot see the know without taking the wheel off but I can reach it.
If you are standing on the drivers side facing the wheel and you reach up to turn the **** on the rear shock to 9 do you turn left or right. US Car

Greg, If you still have the papers with you, it should tell you which way (clockwise or counterclockwise). Since you want 9, it should be easy as you just turn it all the way. I can look it up when I get home and let you know If you don't have the papers with you any more.

This may be a real stupid question but "How do you adjust the settings?" Do you have to remove your tires? I am considering the PSS9's & I don't know how difficult it is or how long it takes.

The front's can be adjusted without removing the tires. It's not real easy, especially if the car is lowered to RS height, but you can turn the wheels and lay on the ground to reach the adjustment **** to turn it as desired.
The rears are more tricky. If you had them mounted with the adjustment wheel pointing in you can reach behind and turn it (again while lying on the ground). If you have the adjustment mounted pointing out, you will probably have to remove the wheel to reach the **** to do the adjustment.
It's actually not too bad. I normally do the adjustments just before an autox or DE when I'm taking the wheels off anyway to change from street to track tires/wheels. With the car kacked up and the wheels off, it's a piece of cake. After having done it a few times, I can now change the 4 settings in 5 minutes (laying down and reaching in with no jack to help).

I lay down next to the wheel with a flash light and mirror. It's easy to reach, especially if you turn the wheel to do the fronts. Total time less than 5 minutes.
