993 w/Volk TE37 pic
Anybody in the list has picture of 993 or 993TT with Volk TE37 wheels? Or even better, anybody really have this set-up currently?
The only pic I have seen is the Zielmotorsport ad in Panorama mag (too small of a pic)
I am trying to visualize my black 993TT with either silver, bronze or gunmetal TE37.
Thanks in advance, bigbye:

Pram-
Dude you've got great taste in wheels . Actually I saw a small photo in an ad in "excellence" magazine. I'm wanting a set of black ones for my guards red '98 C2S. I'm looking for photos also.
I'm sending you a PM with the details and pricing info. I've got so far.
Cheers

try to get a pic
Steve:
I might go to a Volk dealer in Northridge this weekend. Hopefully I can take a picture of it next to my car. He has the gunmetal which according to him is more like very dark gray metallic.
I'll post the picture when it is available

Awesome choice. They're the lightest thing around. You can literally lift a wheel with one finger, I've tried.
If you get the magnesium one it's even lighter and comes in a really awesome deep metallic blue or black.
The gun metal and silver finish is too glossy and is & looks painted IMHO. The bronze is a really nice matt metal finish...looks like metal instead of paint....but you either love or hate the color

Interesting to see this post. I was just at a "tuner/import" show in Baltimore this past weekend and there was a tremendous number of different style wheels, from BBS to Fikse to Kinesis, etc. The Volks were some of the better looking wheels there. I have thought about them for some time, however, it seemed like no one with P-cars seem to be running them. Unfortunately no Volk reps at the show.

Pram-
Very Cool...I'm anxious to see what you come up with.
Sam- It's a pity, everything I've read complements the weight, quality and the few pictures I've seen on 993s really look like something I could be interested in. Nobody around here stocks them and painted ones have a three month lead time (special order).
Cheers

Bronze or Gunmetal
The bronze, my understanding is anodized finish while the gunmetal is powdercoated finish.
Black with the bronze wheel ........Black with the gunmetas........or maybe go for black anodized finish a'la Fikse race black finish,....choices...choices....choices
Zamirz:
Any chance of getting the picture of your neighbor 996 w/the bronze TE37. Thanks

TE37
Just saw close up a yellow S2000 with gunmetal TE37. The gunmetal will look kinda darkbronze or metallic black or dark blue metallic depending on the angle and light. The optional center cap from Volk look kinda tacky for a Porsche. Might have to cap off with black/dark colored center cap. The lug nuts were very exposed so might be better to use a dark anodized lug nuts.
Hopefully get a chance to put a gunmetal TE37 next to my car this coming Sat.

Hey Pram-
Just got through emailing Glenn @ "Upgrade Motoring" I had asked him if he had any access to any photos of the TE37s on 993s. Anyway, the email came back as not deliverable? Hmmmmm.....Wonder what the deal with that is?
I'm looking forward to the pictures .

So help me here. These wheels look nice, but I can not find any weights. Also, the TE37 does not come in anything wider than a 10" for a 17" wheel, or 10.5" for an 18". So these are just nice for looks street wheels? If so, why are the weights that important?
Just curious.
