I think that he got caught in the RE downturn and moved back to Asia. He was an owner in the shop that did the body work on Big Bird as well as his BMWs. Good guy with good feel for mods.
Coincidentally, just 2 days ago tried to call his cell and the person who answered said Alvin gave up the number 4 years ago. I hope Alvin is doing well!
