Keep it, you will regret selling it, the rennlister that I bought my car from last spring emailed me a couple of weeks ago asking to buy it back.

OP - a few thoughts. If you are going to sell, fix the switches for sure. Replacing the brake pads would likely mean replacing the rotors too, so you're call on whether you'd want to DIY it and raise the asking price of leave it and let the buyer sort it out. Regarding the oil leaks, see if the lower valve covers are what is leaking. If they are that should be an easy DIY that will help boost the asking price.

Odds are the chain cover gaskets are leaking too (like mine do). If so just watch the oil level, add oil as needed, and drive.

I would say keep the 993. A Cayenne is a totally different beast (that's 958 right?). Plus 130k miles is only moderate mileage in my opinion (I've got 171k here) for a car that's actually being driven and not just polished. Good luck!

As for the unprovoked attack on my comment I am also happy to meet that person for further discussion or he could apologize. Either way works for me, but I expect neither. It has become second nature for people like quad to trash people indiscriminately because there are no consequences. The mods don't care and, what I find is funny, is that when someone stands up to these people they become the bad guy. Anyway, the OP is likely long gone as this has derailed, which I take my portion of fault for. Hopefully he finds answers elsewhere or better yet decides to keep his 993.
Perhaps, John, I took issue with your insinuation that having brake pads at 20% makes it somehow so unsafe that you wouldn't ride in the car.

Also, I just hired Freddie Roach. should have plenty of training time for our May rumble

Default brakes

There are DIY 's on Brake Jobs. Not too bad after u do the first corner.
Maybe there is a Fellow Rl'er near by to hold the beer? Ooops Meant assist by Consulting.

I did my first Last Year and it went very well.
Took my time and did it in an evening.

Some people used to believe if u sell take the Non-Stock Parts off the Car, It will sell easier and higher $. Not sure that applies today?

As others have suggested: I concurr, Spend a day or Two and complete as many DIY's as u can - which I believe will help bring a higher sale $, if thats what u decide to do.
Cheers
TJ

PS <> Callin Dibs on Turbo Sway /s LOL

Just curious OP-- how many legit interested buyers sent you PMs for your car? It does look sharp and the high miles keeps it within reach for many.

Don't mean to derail this derailment, but this may be a good replacement for one of the OP's (remember the OP?) broken seat switches. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Porsche-Seat...-/151640080031 But the best advice comes from KBell, don't sell it!
