Seems in Front Floor Section

Seems in Front Floor Section
I inspected a '95 coupe last week and all checked out, but it did leave me with one head-scratcher. In the forward floor section on the bottom of the car, just ahead of where the front seat mount, there is a straight seem in each side running across the width of the car. They do look factory and are properly coated with the rest of the floors. However, when I looked at '97 cab, no seems ... hmmm
The '95 coupe was a very early build car, approx. 600th 993 built and in 1st qtr 1994. Could there have been a change in production between years? Does anyone else have a coupe (late or early) that has these seems?
Thanks in advance from a newbie!

You noticed these seams while inspecting the car from underneath? Did you take any pics?
I have an early-'94 build and would be happy to compare.

Andreas - yes, had the car up on a lift to inspect suspension, etc. Unfortunately, my phone died and didn't have a camera available. Go figure ...
Cemoto & C4SJOHN - thanks!! Pics in post #13 & #43 show the seem I was asking about. I couldn't lift the carpet pad to see what they looked like from the inside.
In short, I'm surprised such a seem exists as it looks like it runs the entire width of the car. But who am I to judge such a design as these cars are about as solid as anything else out there!
Also want to thank Sam P ... he provided some pics of his car to me directly which also show the seem.
It's looking like I'll be buying that car and will certainly post pics as soon as I get a chance!

I have a '95 and notice a few different seems in different places. I would think that it's completely normal and through the process of refinement, these changes happen as the years progress.

Ble2011,
Car manufactures run quality projects all the time to take cost out while maintaining or improving quality. A seam change would fall under the save material (steel) or save labor on assembly. If it was an aftermarket damage fix I would thing there would have to be some rather wild indications in other seams on the car.
