97 Targa for sale in Atlanta -need room for Turbo!
Hey guys,
If anyone is looking: I am selling my- show quality- '97 Targa to make room for a new Turbo! Anyone who has seen this car will tell you it's a 10. I hate to see it go but I feel the need for more speed! Feel free to e-mail me or post questions here if you are interested.
Thanks.
Kevin

Looks like a lovely example. As an aside, I surmise by the price you are asking that the Targa's have not held their value as well as the other 993 body styles. I guess I'm a little surprised as I've always liked the Targa's. Does it have to do with the Targa mechanism? I can't imagine they are any worse than convertible top mechanisms. Curious...

Laurence,
I decided to price the car fairly, so I can sell it quickly before I buy the turbo. I think the Targa has held it's value at least as good as other 993 models, maybe more.
I think people on this board some times have an inflated idea as to the price of their 993's in the open market. Who knows, I may be one of them. The Targa mechanism is not very complicated and I have never had any problem with it.

Kevin It looks sweet but I just bought my 96 Arena red targa with less than 16k, supple leather, painted wheel crests, seat crests, phone/console and the targa wheels and 2k on the rubber for 41.5k! Two trips to the Porsche dealer were included at their expense, Ft Lauderdale collections. Good luck!
