I am taking the 911.
I have packed all tools I can fit in box, floor jack, guitar, workshop manual on CD-R, whiskey and kitchen sink.
I leave tomorrow for Lincoln.
I am having trouble uploading photos from phone to site. Parse errors. Don't know what that means.
I will probably just use my laptop at the end of each day.
Stay tuned.

Good choice! Just remember, there's a "parts car" at your destination. And a shop that might actually be getting organized/cleaned up for the first time in a few months.

Looks like your all set to play Gtar in the backseat on your plaid hammock while swinging from the monkey bars at the rest stop. Good luck man, enjoy your trip!

I'm about *this* close to walking to my car in my shorts, pulling out of the driveway and just going straight for the next 10 hours. Have a great time. Don't be too safe.

Damn, you are loaded for bear! Have a great trip. These cars drive better the faster they go. I recently returned from a road trip to Monterey for car week. Almost 2,000 miles roundtrip, including some fantastic back roads. These cars are so solid and stable at 80+ MPH, and so agile for passing.
For those that haven't stretched the legs of their 993s in awhile, go do it before the weather gets crappy again! The sound of the exhaust and engine on downshift, sense of speed, sublime handling...it gets the adrenaline going for sure.

Parse errors: That's happened to me many times. Just delete the app and then reinstall. It will work again...for a while.
Enjoy!
