Just out of curiosity, I noticed many of my friends my age do not drive Porsches, preferring to go the BMW/Audi/Mustang/rice rocket route. All the people I know that drive 993's seem alot older than me. Just curious to find out what are the ages of other owners of 993.

By the way I'm 30.

I got my first 993(the cab) new in 1998..
and the 993TT used(2nd owner) in feb of 2002

Im 31. Bought my car 1 year and 1/2 ago. And no most of my friends don't drive P-cars. Mostly SUV's or Maxima's, Lexus,Honda cars like that. This is our 3rd car our other cars are similar to our friends. My wife has a new Galant and I drive a 2000 Explorer to work and back.

But started owning/driving Porsche's at 23 I think.

My friends (a lot of this list are my friends BTW) mostly drive "cars of interest." That is why some of them ARE my friends - cause that's how we met.

32, purchased my first Porsche, 944S2 Cab., 8 years ago (sold it to my parents) , my first 911 (98 Carrera S) 5 years ago and my race car 3 years ago.
For some reason most of my friends own Porsches, or did own them. Go figure.

Just turned 34. My liver just turned 68.

Thanks to this board, I now have friends (who drive p-cars...). Both my brother in law and a good friend chose Targas over a cab or coupe.

Bought the 911SC when I was 23... I think.

I hope that I'm always this enthusiastic about cars in the future as I forward into my "golden" years.
