Hey Jim - Is that the set that I spotted in their eBay ad I mentioned earlier? If so, glad to hear that it worked out for you

...more importantly that looks like a C4S doorsill on the display the seats are on...someone may want to call FVD to inquire

I just called them. Yes, Jim did get the set in the picture. However, the sills are available in a reproduction made by the OEM manufacturer in Germany. They said they are indistinguishable from OEM except that they don't come in a Porsche bag. Based on FVD's reputation, I just ordered a set. Back ordered to next Wednesday. I'll let everyone know what I get.

How much for the pair? The ad says "from $200".

They charged $180 after a 10% Rennlist discount. To be frank, I'm concerned it was too cheap. It will be interesting to see what I get.

Greg - thanks for taking the plunge. Let us all know how they are when they arrive. If, by your opinion, they look OEM, I'll order a pair as well.

I'll "third" the plunge if they are acceptable quality, let us know how they look.

Default Carbon fiber door sills

Has anyone seen similar ones that say "Porsche" or "Carrera"?!?! There were a few Rennlisters some time ago who were looking to see what it would cost to make some.

Carbon fiber sill on eBay

If I can get a set of CF ones then my stainless steel ones with the "PORSCHE" logo will probably be up for sale (note: these are aftermarket from about 7 years back and AFAIK are not available anywhere anymore...yes, the last pair on earth)

TIA

I just received an authentic pair of C4S alum sills from Emerson at departstop.com

He had just brought them back from Germany. You might try there if he has more. Email him despite what the online catelog says. A pleasure to deal with. The long wait is OVER to complete my aluminum upgrade!!

(no affiliation, compensation, kick back, etc)

Default C4S Sills

The factory C4S door sils are still available. My source in Germany bought the remaining stock. Trying to stay within the board rules, I will just say you need to Email me for more information.
Cheers
