op thanks for putting up the thread.

jhg41977 mine look a little worn I'll take some of your hands if you have it - I'd like enough to do both sides (of both flappers) would that be 4 pieces?

I have never hear of anyone removing the hard piping for an oil change - was that on this list? I just pull out the moulded rubber tube from the output of the flapper valve to the hard pipe - two clamps and its off.

Actually this ducting is nothing like the OE silicone hose sections. This stuff is very very thin with a spiral wire throughout. Commonly used for brake cooling ducts. It might work though.

Edit: I have this exact stuff, same size, sitting in my basement, so I'll mail you a piece for free if you want. I really don't think it would be durable enough though.

I ordered new OEM bits for a lot less money than the $200 mentioned at the start of this thread. I could swear they were only like $30 each.
