What car is it on? Carrera? Turbo? Does the air intake on the engine have a chrome horn - an indication of a m030 suspension. Do you know the car's option codes from the sticker under the hood?

Yes it indiucates M030 But was hoping to avoid Jacking the Car.
Figured somebody here will recognize the Dab of Paint on the Sway.

Huh? How do you correlate the Motorsound option, of which the air filter cover with chrome ring is part of, with M030 suspension? This is like saying having the HiFi option is an indicator of having an LSD.

The easiest way is to measure it.

FWIW, the rear ROW turbo sway I just installed had a white paint mark on it. I think it measured 21mm.

Hi Kika

Yes, I realize I can measure it but I do not have a Lift so was hoping to take a short Cut - Figured somebody here would spot my question and be able to confirm with the pic.
Thanks

Oh Really - Now that is interesting.

I wondered why my Rear Sway has Light Blue Paint and the Front is white Paint.

Light Blue from my reading indicates M030.

The white paint on the Front Sway threw me off.

My Car had the Sport Chassis installed by the Dealer when New.

The Parts were shipped from Porsche to the Dealer. I have the Documentation.

I was hoping someone here may provide some insights and save me the aggro of jacking up the car.

On my first DE the instructor said the car was Pushing - now I know that is a different question but knowing which parts are on the car is a start to finding answers.

Thanks again for sharing! Appreciated.
I gather it is time to jack up the car and start measuring.
Regards;

TJ,
A flashlight and cheapie China made, 6" digital venier caliper set to mm, will give you your answer. You might be able to get a caliper on the bar without jacking up the car, but then again its only one wheel you have to lift...

All toolboxes should contain a digital venier caliper. On sale, they are $10 US; ordinarially $19 at Harbor Freight tools.

It may not be the easiest thing to do, but I was able to measure mine without a lift, just laying on the ground and sticking a ruler with mm markings on it up against the bar. The rear is doable, probably not the front.

Not as accurate as a caliper, but the difference between the stock rear 17mm and M030 20mm is pretty significant, so the measurement does not need to be super accurate to discriminate between the two.

FWIW I went with the RoW Turbo Rear bar, which is 21mm, and a very nice setup. I do not think mine has a white paint stripe on it. I bought it from Sunset.

Paul,

please do not die....Don't want anyone to charge me with manslaughter.

my original comment was not intended as a joke or an insult, that is how I actually figured out which bar I used to have on the rear. I was concerned because the original owner installed M030 springs, but I was unsure if the bars were also changed.
