I guess a bonus would be that older tie rods that might be failing will not be anymore (or at least not fail at the rubber bushing). I did my car, did not notice much difference yet, but that was just driving around the city, not too many curves ... :-)

Interested to hear others thoughts on their recent tie rod pinning mod as well. It was an impressive number of 993's that made it out to the BBQ. Mike J - Thanks for hosting as always.

Hi Mike, thanks again for hosting, it gets better every year!
Haven,t driven too much since the event but i do notice that the play in the steering post pinning is now gone. I used to have to move the steering wheel a couple of noticeable degrees before the steering would come into effect and this (annoyance) is now gone. I wouldn,t be surprised that i am still on original tie rods so this may extend their life a bit.

I just did mine last week before I went over to "Werks Reunion". Noticed a substancial addition of feedback and input. Not sure if it was a vast difference or more of a placebo affect. After my proper alignment today, I love the input I'm getting from the wheel. We'll have to get the full review after my next track day, but I think it's a noticable improvement. Bang 4 the buck makes it a no brainer.
