Yes, I got the wheels installed on Saturday. I have new Yok AVS Sports (295x30x18) on the rear and almost new S03s (225x30x18) on the front. The Yoks seem to be terrific, but I need a little more tire on the front. Next time. Look at Lee's link, and there are some good pictures of my car.

If you guys organize another one of these in the near future, consider the weekend of September 20-21. Arjan from the 964 board--lives in the Netherlands--will be visiting the US, and I'm sure he'd get a kick out of seeing some of the LA Rennlister Porsches and owners.

We also plan on hitting the German Autofest on 9/14, so we'll join up with any P-car convoy that's heading up to Ventura. Perhaps such a convoy will render a 9/20-21 canyon run redundant?

Max, LeeR and others, thanks for the quick turnaround on the pics. Temple, thanks for organizing the run. This was my first run and I had a blast! The only thing was, fbfisher was a little too slow leading the pack in his nice blue cab...NOT! All very impressive cars and it was great to meet all of you. Steve, I guess I should change my name since I do not have a cab anymore but I've kind of gotten used to it. LeeR, there is no finer site than watching your blue TT accelerate out of a turn, just amazing.

My brother in law will be in town the weekend of August 17 and I was wondering if we might do another Malibu run that day. He is a long time P-car fanatic and is dying to see the action, albeit from the passenger seat!

Any takers for a drive on Sunday August 17, same time, same route? It would be nice if you could lead again, Fred.

Yup, Fred's now got the official assignment of "pack leader" . . . he really did a great job today. This was also my first run with the list. . . and what a blast it was.
