interior parts like dash panels?
I foudn a ton of aluminum stuff like at
stuttgart performance.com but thats it so
far. I know I am not looking in the right place.

Og,
No sweat. Read your story about the condo and car buy in process. Hope it goes well. Many others here are much more knowledgable about the carbon fiber.
Personally I don't care for the look - too much of an industrial aerospace look. Maybe for the engine compartment it would be ok.
Gert has most of the best bits and pieces that you'll want to doll up the new ride. But, AJ-USA has the best aluminum race pedals and steering wheel IMHO.
Feel free to email me anytime if you want a quick answer of help on cosmetics. I'm not a suspension, engine gearbox expert.

OG, don't look at the immitation stuff, get the originals or the same type from reputable tuners like TechArt which replace the entire panels on the dash instead of the stick on types. I bought mine of ebay the complete set, sometimes they come up so look out for them.

Thanks guys, one of the TT's I drove was Danny SUllivans first
96TT into the US, had full carbon fiber and it looked sweet.
I woul not do stick on, gotta be original, I only get to do this
one time!
Also
had the aluminum stuff. He had it for a couple of months then
sold it to the guy that wanted to sell it to me. Polar silver on
grey nice! too bad it had stories.

DJF1 is right.....try Techart, FVD and Gert for starters. Much of the OEM carbon fiber on the 993 dash is stick on. It is stuck on to the original vinyl covering with glue at the factory. The carbon fiber itself on these parts is very thin - not solid and applied to the standard foam core vinyl coverd part (such as the strip across the center of the dash, airbag section and gauge surround). If you can find the same thin carbon fiber pieces supplied to Porsche (try TechArt) you could never tell the difference once installed and it would make the job a lot easier. Be careful with the gauge surround piece. The OEM part wraps under the dash and has a hole for the key light. The cheaper kits just cover the face and do not wrap under the gauge area - often the color/pattern is off, also. These look cheap. Use OEM for shifter, e-brake, door panels, door handles and console switch housing. I believe the center tray is a Techart piece. There are several pictures of my former 993TT carbon fiber interior on page 2 of the gallery below. I installed these pieces myself using the OEM carbon fiber. Here is a picture showing the full 993 CF interior (except it has the 3-spoke 996 CF steering wheel).....

Although the factory carbon fiber kit is applique, and, as such, actually adds weight to the vehicle, it is far better looking than any after market pieces that I have seen. As such, if you favor the carbon fiber "look", I would go with nothing other than Porsche OE.
