1) Does anybody have a good source for new bolster leather (the back surround down to the front)? Porsche OEM? Recaro?
2) Any source for the clips to repair/ replace the "trampoline" to frame attachment supports/ clips (see pic)?

Any help appreciated! Beautiful seats in this thread!
Unless you are trying to keep them original, I'd recommend just ditching the tramps & have a 2" thick section of fabric covered seat foam attached to the bottom cushion. I have this in my 964 with speedster seats & it works perfectly in both comfort and raising the bottom cushion enough to conceal the holes left from the tramp hangers. I can send you some pictures if helpful.

Reviving this old thread because there are a pair of 964 Speedster seats up on Bringatrailer right now.

Speaking of seats....

The OEM hardbacks are still my favorite seats, but I recently installed Recaro Podiums on a project car. Amazingly light, easy installation, but surprisingly comfortable. No issues after 2 hours of spirited driving, I was impressed.

Just a word of caution those interested in the RS/speedster seats or standard pole position seats. They are definitely designed for those more svelte physique. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the RS/Speedster seats offer the same fit as the standard FIA Pole Position.

Regarding the standard FIA Pole Position, I'd say if you have a 34" waist or larger, it is super tight and not comfortable. For the girthier (like me), you're much better off with a slightly wider seat (e.g. SPG XL or the ABE Pole Position). I have both SPG XL and ABE Pole Position and did a side-by-side comparison, and they offer essentially the same fit (albeit with some subtle differences in thigh bolster, harness opening location and size, and shoulder bolster area support).

Here's a comparison of the ABE Pole position (left) vs FIA Pole Position (right). Just some infor for anyone considering these seats.

Here's the definitive thread (thanks to Bill Verberg) on installing Recaros in a 993

Thanks for posting this, great comparison.

Here’s a good Article noting the difference between the FIA and ABE.

Also important to note, sadly, that these seats are not recommended for drivers over six feet tall. They’re too short, and they get very uncomfortable. And the slots for the harnesses are too low. At 6’4”, this has been a major disappointment.
