Hi. Did the search thing. Looking for the 993 badge for the decklid. Neither Performance Products nor Tweeks carries it. Is it special made?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Yeah, NSR is in Repsol replica colors...ridiculously fun bike to ride...more stable than the RGV and the TZR, but my preference would be for the Aprilia RS250. The MH900e is pretty sweet but stylinig is a bit controversial - some people like it, some don't...to each his own - center of gravity is a bit higher than the 996, but overall seating position is a tad more comfortable. Rear mirrors as always are crap!
Nothing rides like a two-stroke....on the track you can dash inside, outside, anywhere around the guys on the big bikes...this unsettles them a bit until they blow by you in the straightaways...but then you can reel them in again in the turns. A good rider on a two stroke can easily keep up with someone on a liter-bike...which is frustrating as hell for them! You also need corner speed so it takes awhile to break the habit of handfuls of brembos before rolling the bike over like on the 996.
What I really want though is one of these http://www.nortonamerica.com/company.html check out the video - awesome sound and custom made for about $20K

Ducati's mirrors always sucked.
Never ridden a 250 before but I hear they are the 'balm. After selling my Duc I looked at RS250s or Suzi Gixxer6s. Opted for 911.
That Norton is quite cool. Product doesn't show a 880.

The 880 Sprint Special is what is on the video and in the magazine ariticles. The new 852 has not yet come AFAIK and is a bit more mass produced (at least compared to the 880SS
) There used to be another website www.vintagerebuilds.com that had more info but it's offline for now. Thought seriously about ordering one 2 years ago and didn't...now am regretting it as it may be a while before they become available again.
If you're looking for a track-only bike consider getting a TZ250 or even a TZ125...a real race bike and fairly cheap. A great way to learn how to really ride is on a small two stroke...if you don't keep up your corner speed and keep the motor humming in the narrow powerband you get left for dead!
