Anyone had this problem with Rennline Track Pad?
I just fitted a Rennline track pad in my 993, drove it about 4 miles and had to pull over because the angled 'lip' at the front of the pad caught in the heel of my shoe and made shifting almost impossible…tried re positioning the pad as far forward as it would go and also as far back as it would go and all points in between
No luck - my shoe catches on that angled lip at every shift. I had to remove it to continue to drive…Anybody else had this problem? I can only shift with my foot planted on the floor using my heel as the pivot point, so the only solution I can see working is to cut off the angled 'lip' at the front of the pad. All thoughts or input on this relatively minor but nonetheless annoying occurrence appreciated

I have track mats and have never had a problem catching my heel, but I depress the clutch with my whole leg, instead of pivoting just my ankle.
Side: Are the original mats supposed to go under the track mats? I just have the tracks in and the retaining plastic nut comes off all the time.

I think they are supposed to be used without the original mat. You can put the original mat on top of it.
You must have some big feet. There is no way I can do the clutch without lifting my foot and using my whole leg.

the sticky of the Velcro should mount to the sound deadening on floor and bottom of track pad - no floor mats or carpets at all.
good luck
Edit: I can't recall (my set is not installed in the new car) but I believe the lip can then be hidden behind the wooden floor board (behind the pedals)
