I'm in L.A. with Ford for the auto show and they take us to a very cool downtown warehouse for a media briefing on the Ford Edge. Then I think to myself, this place looks familiar. Behind a door is the collection. Cool place and very tasty cars.

he's really starting to add a lot of later cars now. i know he talked about being interested in the early turbos and he's clearly started down that road.

One of his businesses is renting out his place in DTLA for film shoots / special events etc. Have to say that I'm surprised that door wasn't locked (actually, I'm not). I'm pretty sure that the door to the 64 was though!
He's taken a lot of flack since his STR sold for mucho moula, but I'm of the opinion that he's an innovator & those that throw stones at him throw them from the sideline.

i see no reason at all to give the guy flack for selling a car for mucho $$$. the car brought the money the market would give - what's the issue? i give him props for being somewhat of an innovator and forging his own path when it comes to early 911s. whether clothing, cars, photo shoots, etc. - he's a visionary. okay, he's no steve jobs, but he's doing his own thing and succeeding extremely well at it. what's to dislike? plus, he DIGS porsches. not to mention, he's a bit of a non-conformist.

Magnus is a very good guy. He follows his heart when it comes to cars.
As for a 993 I do not know. He does like the Turbos right now. The 993 is not like a spartin early Turbo.

I was also at the same spot this past Saturday with a buddy of mine while visiting Cali and was able to see his collection and speak with him.
Great guy ... He really liked driving my friends 997 TT around his shop/home
Not sure if I should post pics without his permission...

I appreciate Magnus for what he is- an enthusiastic dude with the means to make his automotive passions come alive who is happy to let others in on it through his videos. I've enjoyed both videos.

Update. I was at the Porsche Macan premier at the L.A. show today and stood next to Magnus the whole time. A real great guy, so down to earth and I felt like I had known him for years. We chatted about all kinds of stuff for about 20 minutes and spent most of the time chatting about the Panamera of all things. Very nice person.
