Options for wide oval or round tips.
Hey guys (and gals). I'm looking to send off my stock exhausts to FD some time this winter to get either a stage 2 or 3 on them, but I was told they no longer have the wide oval tips available. Can anyone recommend some good quality round or oval tips to go with the system that won't cost a bundle? Been toying with the idea of having an all blacked out system, so not sure what options I have. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Not sure what you mean by "they no longer have the wide oval tips available". The exhaust cans and the exhaust tips are seperate items. You will remove the tips before shipping the cans. They will modify the cans, ship them back to you, you will install the cans, then install your tips.

I think he simply means wide ovals are no longer available from FD, heard Darin was unfortunately having some supply issues. Too bad cause they are great tips!

Tim Moffatt may chime in, he has some nice wide ovals on his blue C2, I vaguely recall they were from a Corvette parts list I think....

The ebay link above is a killer deal I think!

After some research, the ebay vendor went by the name corvetteC5dude. Not sure if they have any direct relation to the plastic-fantastic's pipes or the guy just likes Vettes. They were a fraction of the cost and look pretty good IMHO.
